Jon Barnard - Funeral fundraiser by CCCC

Sadly, this morning we lost a wonderful man within our cricketing family Jon Barnard player/umpire/groundsman and foremost friend, passed away following emergency surgery after suffering from a cardiac arrest. Jon was only playing in our 2nd XI game vs Dulwich on Saturday 18th July and enjoying a few beers after the game, laughing and joking with everyone as was Jon’s way. Jon was someone who everyone at the club gravitated towards and the outpouring of emotion and support has shown how loved Jon was at the club. There is so much that we as a club would like to do to honour Jon’s memory and will be doing these within the coming days/weeks but firstly the club has decided to organise a gofundme page to raise some funds that we can donate to Jon’s family to help cover some of the funeral costs.
