Joli Beauty Bar opened it's doors in the fall of 2015. Founder and CEO Zsuzsi Evans has always felt that beauty was something to be enjoyed and celebrated, not a way to "fix" what the outside says is wrong. COO, Chardé Smith wanted to create an enviroment that was both welcoming and educational, not purly sales driven. Together their vision is to make beauty services accessible and fun for women of NYC, and eventually all over the world.
Joli Beauty Bar was founded on the premise that all women are beautiful, we're just here to highlight what they love about themselves. Our beauty studio is a safe haven for those seaking a variety of services and product knowledge. We are lucky to be a part of very special occassions and are honored to create wonderful memories for the women celebrating anything from birthdays to wedding days.
As a "hidden" gem in the NYC landscape we want to bring this experience to many more women city-wide. Having created a beauty studio loved by so many, we believe it's time to grow and expand our reach.
The newest component of our business combines everything we've dicovered women need. Joli Social is a very special women's group that combines our desire to build a community of diverse women and the need for a safe space for learning, discussion, fun, and of course beauty.
We are looking to hire an all female PR team who would get us in front of a larger audience. We are looking to grow our business with GoFundMe and eventually investors. With this we can provide more oppotunities for the artists already working for us and hire more people. Your support would mean so much to us but it woud also mean more jobs for the stylists in NYC looking to create a more personal experience for their clients.
