When you know that one of your loved ones is in a hospital bed, sometimes we feel helpless that there is nothing else we can do, but just be there for them. My beautiful mother, Jolanta Nieć was diagnosed with lung cancer in August 2017. She has never smoked, eats a healthy diet, loves sports, and an active lifestyle, which makes it that much more heartbreaking. As you can see it can happen to anyone. Through many years my mother was teaching CCD at a Catholic Church, and singing at chorus on Sunday’s mass, which she misses doing so very much. My mom also loves her teaching job at Maria Konopnicka School of Polish Language. As a volunteer, she has been teaching there for 17 years, if not for her illness, she would still be able to engage in her normal lifestyle. Chemotherapy that my mom is going through is giving great results. We believe and we have hope that everything will be all right. However to prevent any stress that could worsen our mother's health we need your help. The total cost of the medical bills is $ 18,959. Our father tried to pay most of the bills, but new bills come every week and this is too much for us. My brother and I and our entire family cannot imagine life without our mom. She means everything to us ! I would love to see my beloved Mother in my future. I will see my mom healthy again as she is in the picture above in tears of joy in her eyes, not sorrow tears like right now.
