Jojo’s Dream Fund

Donation protected

Jojo’s Dream Fund was inspired by Jolon “Jojo” Wilkerson. Jojo was diagnosed on April 14, 2017 with Burkitts Lymphoma, and fought for 17 months with a smile on his face and love in his heart for others. At the end of Jojo’s long and courageous battle, he passed away on September 6, 2018, in the arms of his family, after facing complications from his second Car-T cell infusion. Jolon was a light to all who met him, and will forever be remembered for the love he gave, his sweet dance moves, and for his smile and infectious personality that lit up any room he entered.

With Jolon’s life in mind, Jojo’s Dream Fund  was created to not only support children, adolescents, and young adult oncology patients, but their families as well, by aiding in the fight against cancer by meeting the need of each individual family member. We believe, just as Jolon did, that no FAMILY should fight alone!

In honor of Jojo’s life and fight, all proceeds raised will go to Lexington Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON) and be used to fund Jojo’s Dream Fund scholarships, which will be used for hematology/oncology families and patients to offer support for food, clothing, shelter, travel, and other basic needs.
