Help Johanna Get Back in the Saddle

Hi Everyone. We’re Jackie and John, Johanna’s big brother and sister.
Johanna has been struggling with health issues since August of last year. The initial diagnosis was diverticulitis but as the months went by and the infections and ER visits continued she was still experiencing severe pain and difficulty eating. Over Christmas it finally came to a head and she was rushed to the hospital and given 3 blood transfusions as her hemoglobin had fallen to dangerous levels. It was finally revealed that she has a tumor in the sigmoid colon which was confirmed after a biopsy to be cancerous. She will be undergoing surgery on January 18 and possibly chemotherapy afterwards.
Jo has had to signficantly scale back her working hours over the past 6 months due to her condition and the physical nature of her profession. And now with the upcoming surgery and recovery time her ability to work will be even more limited.
She is already being asked by many of her friends how they can help. Outside of her recovery, her most pressing conerns are mounting medical bills and basic living expenses.
If you're able to provide any assistance, even the smallest amount would be greatly appreciated and help Jo get back on her feet (and horse!).
