Covering Jojo's auto repair

Jojo is a self-described pixie, a trans girl whose life is on hold following a car accident. On August 5, Jojo's vehicle was struck in a hit and run accident which left a significant dent. Lyft, her entire source of income, deactivated her. Now she has no money in the bank and is living off of a credit card which is reaching its limit. Jojo's chronic health conditions have been aggravated by this stress and uncertainty.

Unfortunately, in order to get reactivated on Lyft, a $1100 repair is necessary. Jojo has contacted both Lyft and her commercial insurance policy and neither will pay out for this incident. It sucks but, Jojo is on the hook for this.

What happened to Jojo could happen to any of us, and she really could use a helping hand.
