<div>As part of the graduating senior class from St. Andrews, we will work on volunteer service projects throughout the D.C. metropolitan area and beyond. I have chosen to work with an organization in Mexico called <strong>Keeping Kids in School (KKIS)</strong> <a href="https://www.kkisproject.org" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.kkisproject.org</a> and will be raising funds to buy backpacks and school supplies for Kindergarten children so that they can go to school. <strong>Each backpack with supplies costs $25 and to supply a classroom of 30 children it costs $750.</strong> Once I have raised funds, I will travel to Mexico with the funds and buy the supplies, pack the backpacks, and deliver them with the team to rural Mexican villages. In addition, I will also be teaching English to high school students so that they can look to work in local companies or go on to university.
