My name is Kyla and I am raising funds for my mom, so she can attend the Make-A-Wish trip for her grandson and create everlasting memories with him so my nephew and her grandson has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and was diagnosed at 6 months old. If you don't know what it is, it is a disease that continuously breaks down the muscles in his body. He is now 8 and is nonambulatory so our life with him looks significantly different then most.. He is the heart and soul of our family and we want to make this trip as amazing and memorable as possible for him. He loves his "Grammie" so much and doesnt want her to miss a moment. The Make-A-Wish Foundation pays for a certain number of people to go, but unfortunately, it will not cover her. This would help her afford the travel costs, food costs, and allow her the ability to purchase park tickets as well. They will be going to Legoland, Universal Studios, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and Epcot. It would be amazing to be able to surprise her with this gift!
