<div>At the end of July, Sean was experiencing some pain on the right side of his chest. At the advice of his doctor, he went to the emergency room for testing. After many hours and many tests, his heart was cleared, but two concerning items were found: a large mass on his kidney and a nodule on his lung near the wall of his heart. Sean was diagnosed with stage 4 Renal Cell Carcinoma that had metastasized to his lung. Within a few short weeks surgery was scheduled to remove his left kidney and the nodule on his right lung.

<div>We believe the pain in Sean’s chest was truly a prompting from God, moving us to find this diagnosis before it was truly too late.

<div>Due to the stage 4 diagnosis ongoing treatment is necessary. With continual prayer and weighing all the options, Sean and Lisa have decided to move forward with treatment at Oasis of Hope Hospital in Tijuana, Mexico. This hospital blends conventional and alternative medicine and has a high remission rate. Oasis of Hope comes highly recommended, as they have several friends that have been treated there with great results.

<div>Cancer treatment comes at a cost physically, emotionally, and financially. The cancer journey, for us, has been a soul stretching dichotomy of gratitude and grief. Through it all we trust in God’s help and provision. The total cost for hospital stay, treatment, and 3 month follow up with travel is $65,000.
