On Friday, December 6, my employee, Miguel Martinez, was admitted to the ICU, intubated, and put into a medical coma because he was unable to breathe on his own. It has been discovered that he is suffering from the flu and a bacterial infection in his lungs. As of today, Miguel was able to call me to let me know that he is improving and hopes to be out of the ICU in a couple of days.
Miguel has worked at the Pantages Theater in the maintenance department for over 8 years and is lucky to have medical coverage with the Nederlander organization. However, he still faces hefty out-of-pocket medical expenses during this holiday season. His devastated family is focused on getting Miguel back to his wonderful, fun-loving self, but they are unsure how they will manage these unexpected medical expenses. I want to do what I can to help them out!
Fellow Pantages Theater lovers and employees, Raider fans, Dodger fans, and authentic Los Angelinos, let's come together to help Miguel and his family handle these unexpected expenses, so he can get back to doing all the things he loves.
