Dear friends and community,

We are reaching out with a heavy heart to share some difficult news about our dear friend, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and kitchen staff, Kathy Gentry. Last Tuesday, Kathy went in for what was supposed to be a routine medical procedure. Unfortunately, complications arose, and she had to undergo emergency surgery. She is currently in the ICU and suffering from septic shock, her road to recovery will be long and challenging.

Kathy is not just an incredible cook at Cheeky Bastards, but she's also a cherished member of our team and community. Her passion for cooking and dedication to the restaurant and those she serves have touched many of us. Right now, she needs our support more than ever.

As Kathy focuses on healing, she will be unable to work for the next few months. This means she will need help covering her everyday expenses during this difficult time. We have set up this GoFundMe page to raise $5,000 to help pay her bills and alleviate some of the financial stress while she recovers.
