Help Ben Get Back on His Feet

A few days ago, my family and I met a man named Ben at the Waffle House, and his story moved us deeply. Ben has been through a rough season in life, including homelessness, but recently something incredible happened—he found the Lord, and things are starting to turn around.

Ben just got hired at the very same Waffle House where we met him. He walks to work every day, determined to rebuild his life. His spirit is strong, but while he waits for his first paycheck, he still needs a little help to cover some essentials so he doesn’t lose the progress he’s making.

Here’s what your donation would help cover:

• Hotel stay for 1–2 weeks while he gets stable: $75/night

• Birth certificate (so it can be shipped here): $100

• Tennessee ID so he can move forward with work and housing applications

• Other small necessities while he gets settled

The good news is, food and clothes are already taken care of—thanks to the kindness of others and Ben’s own resourcefulness. Now we just want to help make sure he has a safe place to stay and the important documents he needs while he gets on his feet.
