Our story is one of faith, resilience, and hope.

Kyle’s health struggles began long before I ever met him. He came into this world as a premature baby, undergoing surgeries at such a young age that doctors once doubted he would survive. But Kyle defied the odds. Every time someone said he couldn’t, he did. Every challenge he faced, he overcame. His mother’s unwavering belief in God and trust in His will carried Kyle through those early battles—and that same faith sustains us now.

In 2020, our lives were forever changed. Kyle began experiencing shortness of breath, assuming it was asthma. One day, he collapsed on the floor while home alone with our one-year-old daughter. After many tests at Baptist MD Anderson, we received the devastating news: Kyle had trachea stenosis in a rare and complicated area of his trachea.

The only option was to begin a series of delicate micro-dilation procedures to stretch his airway. This became our reality from 2020 through early 2024, with procedure after procedure, hoping for stability. But in January 2024, after one of his last treatments, we were told his doctor was leaving the practice. Suddenly, we had no answers, no clear next steps, and no long-term plan.

Desperate for help, we turned to Mayo Clinic. Kyle was in immediate distress, and the team did everything they could to restore his breathing. They attempted four different stents:
• The first caused painful internal tearing and bleeding.
• The second dislodged within 15 minutes.
• The third lasted two weeks before nearly choking him at home.
• The fourth caused unbearable pain, keeping him in the ICU for seven days before they had to remove it.

Finally, a doctor performed a dilation coated with a specialized medication, bringing some much-needed—though temporary—relief.

Now, Kyle is under the care of UF Health, where doctors are exploring new techniques and even experimental approaches. But the reality is that Kyle will likely need ongoing dilations for years to come—possibly for the rest of his life—unless God grants complete healing.

Through it all, Kyle has continued to show the same strength and determination that carried him through his earliest struggles. He is a loving husband, a devoted father to our daughter Everly, and a man of faith who refuses to give up.

We are asking for your help. Between running our small family business, managing Kyle’s health, and raising our daughter, the financial strain is heavy. Your generosity will help cover medical expenses, ongoing procedures, and the many costs that come with navigating this journey.

Please keep Kyle, our daughter Everly, his mom Pamela and dad Steve, my mom Danita, and our entire family in your prayers. We continue to believe in God’s power to heal, and we are so grateful for every bit of love and support we’ve received.

Every prayer, every share, and every donation brings us one step closer to hope. Thank you for standing with us.
