Hello everyone. My name is Grace G., and I decided to set up this account to help a family member - a cousin of mine who lives in the Philippines that was recently diagnosed in December 2024 with an aggressive form of cancer called Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Her name is Kristen Jimenez and she will be the 100% beneficiary of this account. She is only 28 years old and still has so much life left to live. She is not able to work now due to her condition; she is the only child and she is being cared for by her parents now who also have some health challenges of their own. She does not have any health care insurance like we do here in the USA, and she just started with her chemotherapy at Makati Medical Center that left her with a staggering bill of almost $30,000. She was so weak and almost dying and needed frequent blood transfusions, and she stayed at the hospital for more than a month. She also went blind for a month, and her eyesight is now getting better after she completed the first round of chemotherapy. She was only released from the hospital after she provided them with a promissory note and made some payment arrangements. On top of that, she will still need to continue with sessions of chemotherapies, and she will have to pay this all in cash.

The proceeds here will go towards her chemotherapy sessions, chemotherapy drugs, hospitalization bills, everyday expenses going to and back from the hospital, expenses if she needs blood transfusions again, and all medical treatments she may need. This will be a long fight battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
