<div>My dear friends, <strong>Stefanos Kafatos, his partner Grace, and their beloved dog Pinky, have lost their home and everything in it as a result of the devastating Eaton fire.</strong> In addition to his personal belongings, Stefanos also lost all the gear he needs in order to make a living. Stefanos is a wonderful friend and a terrific cinematographer, and so many people have reached out to ask how they can help.

<div>I met Stefanos at USC when we were all in the trenches together to pursue our degrees. Since then, we have worked on many projects together, and he filmed my documentary, <em>Mothers in the Middle</em>. He is incredibly talented and hard-working. Anyone who knows him knows that he lends humor, grace, and kindness to every situation.
