<div>Hi, my name is Jennifer Nale and <strong>I’m starting this GoFundMe to help my niece and her family after an extremely unexpected cancer diagnosis</strong> in an otherwise healthy and active 17-year-old girl. Hannah Racine is a high school student in Belchertown, MA. Like many other teenagers, she has been keeping herself busy with basketball, cross country running, learning to drive, going to prom, and getting ready to start her senior year. After what she thought might be a sports injury in her leg, a tumor was located and along with additional spots on her lungs. A short 9 days later, a cancer diagnosis arrived and has shocked all of us. My brother and his family are navigating their way through the unknown in what you can imagine is a parent’s worst nightmare.

<div><strong>Medical costs and unpaid time off are weighing on my brother’s family.</strong> Hannah has endured several rounds of chemo already, had several long stays in the hospital, and has three upcoming surgeries out in Boston.

<div>Hannah has been a trooper through it all so far. She has maintained a positive attitude and has been brave and strong facing all this. She is ready to attack this illness head on! All her family and friends are rallying behind her trying to help her get through this and we know our local communities will do the same!
