Help Dan Fight chronic Kidney Failure and Secure His Future with His Grandchildren

Hello, my name is Carolyn, and I am reaching out to you on behalf of my dad, Dan. Dan is a proud father, grandfather, husband, and hard-working man who has dedicated over 33 years of his life to his job at College of Southern Idaho. He has always been a pillar of strength for his family, providing for us and putting others before himself. Unfortunately, life has taken an unexpected and difficult turn.

Dan is currently battling chronic kidney failure, a devastating condition that has drastically impacted his health and quality of life. As his kidneys continue to deteriorate, he requires frequent doctor visits, and other treatments just to keep him alive. Sadly, his health has made him have to take a Medical Leave from the College of Southern Idaho and has made him have to consider early retirement, leaving him unable to work and provide for himself or his family as he once did.

In addition to the physical challenges, the financial burden has been overwhelming. Despite his years of hard work, much of his medical care and treatments are not fully covered by insurance, and the mounting bills have become unmanageable. his medical treatment alone is costly, and with other ongoing treatments, medications, and hospital visits, the financial strain is crushing.

One of the hardest things for Dan right now is knowing that he’s struggling to be there for his two beautiful grandchildren. He’s always dreamed of watching them grow up, seeing them graduate, and being part of their lives as they reach each milestone. His greatest wish is to be able to spend more time with them, and we’re doing everything we can to ensure he has that chance. But without the financial support to cover his medical expenses, that dream feels increasingly out of reach.
