Hello friends!!

My name is Tonka, I am a one-year-old lab pit mix. My family and I just found out that I somehow fractured my jaw and now need to get a CT scan along with a major surgery to help fix my jaw. We are really not sure how I managed to do this; it could be from periodontal disease or from some trauma before I met my pawrents. But good news! I get to meet with a specialist who is going to help fix my jaw so I am able to do all my favorite things again, such as eat, play with toys, and wrestle my brother Bear. My specialist said that I need to have the surgery very soon, before Christmas, so I can enter the new year with a fresh new smile.

With all this new information that my pawrents have gathered this week comes a ton of big expenses that I did not mean for them to have, close to $10,000 worth of expenses. But they told me I’m worth it and they love me so very much that they’re willing to do whatever it takes to help me feel like myself again. I didn’t mean for them to be faced with this major expense right before my baby brother's first Christmas. My family and I would be forever grateful for any little help we can get. It would mean the world to me and to them too, of course! I promise I’ve been on my best behavior this year.
