Espero que este mensaje los encuentre bien. Hoy les escribo con gran pesar y una humilde petición en nombre de Paola Vélez y de nuestra familia.

Paola no solo es hija, hermana y tía querida, sino también una mujer llena de vida, sueños y amor por quienes la rodean. Siempre ha sido de las personas que dan sin esperar nada a cambio, y ahora enfrenta la batalla más difícil de su vida.

Hace unos meses, a Paola le diagnosticaron un cáncer de mama agresivo. A pesar de haber comenzado la quimioterapia, su condición ha empeorado a medida que el cáncer se ha extendido a la columna vertebral y al cerebro. La semana pasada, estuvo en cuidados intensivos, y aunque estos momentos han sido devastadores, Paola sigue mostrando una valentía, fe y esperanza increíbles.

Esta experiencia ha traído inmensos desafíos emocionales y financieros a nuestra familia. Por mucho que deseemos que Paola se concentre exclusivamente en su recuperación, las crecientes facturas médicas y los gastos relacionados han creado una carga adicional.
