<div>Friends and colleagues from Sudan pointed me to the story of Jameela. She is in a very desperate situation and trying to flee the war. They will need around 12.000 euros in order to escape,however initially they need money to move to a safe state (from alGazira state). Please consider donating as much as you can, they are ready to provide proof/pictures of their living situation and condition. We don't share photos of Jameela and her siblings to protect her privacy. All proceedings will be transferred to her, so she can escape and start to heal however difficult it may be.

<div>“Hello, My name is Jameela, I am a fourth year dental student. before the war; my family and I had a modest but a content little life. I had dreams and aspirations but now in the amidst of the worst possible circumstances I only find myself dreaming of surviving and escaping this never ending nightmare.

<div>I am oldest of 5 (four daughters and a son) , my father may god rest his soul, was killed by RSF during the second month of the war and because of it we left Khartoum to seek refuge in Wad Madani, leaving everything we had behind. And to support my family and pay for my mother medical expenses (she suffers from diabetes and coronary heart disease) I worked a few small jobs (waitressing). And now after RSF took over Wad Madani, we are trapped scared for our lives (my mother ran out of meds and doesn’t sleep anymore fearing RSF will come to kill us or worse rape us and she literally ask us to hide whenever there’s a movement in our area) without any means to get out of Madani we continue to suffer and live in fear.

<div>Update 18th of February: Jameela’s mother (may God rest her soul) passed away due to lack of meds and with the help of neighbours they were able to bury her outside the house they were staying in.

<div>Update 21st of February: Jameela was able to get out of Madani and go to alManagel with the help of a friend. Now we want to get them to Al-Gadarif state and from there hopefully to outside of Sudan.

<div>Update 17 March: Jameela's authorised her aunt Salma to receive the money on their behalf.
