Join Team Laurie to Beat Cancer!

Laurie Wilson, the cornerstone and beloved Bartender of Coronado Cays Yacht Club for 25 years has recently received some very difficult news, Laurie has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and she is scheduled for surgery on Thursday, August 10th. She will have follow-up chemotherapy as part of her treatment. Please join Team Laurie and become a warrior with Laurie and keep sending her healing thoughts.

Although Laurie has medical insurance through the Coronado Cays Yacht Club, there will be significant out of pocket expenses that will need to be covered as well as ongoing household financial responsibilities.

In addition to the difficult news, Laurie’s son recently had a very, very serious hit and run motorcycle accident that took most of her vacation leave so that she could focus on his care, night and day for over a month.  

Team Laurie is stepping up and stepping in to band together to help Laurie focus on healing and beating ovarian cancer. Team Laurie does not want her to feel financially burdened during this time, we want all of her energy focused on getting well.

Laurie is in it to win it! We can’t wait to see her back to Coronado Cays Yacht Club healthy and happy as we have known her for all these years.
