My family opened our hearts and home to a pitbull named Roxy. Just over a year ago, Roxy had faced the grim fate of euthanasia due to a broken leg that left her unwanted. When our family saw Roxy's situation, we couldn’t bear to leave her behind. My mother took her home, and we were determined to give her a second chance.

For months, Roxy thrived in our loving care. She transformed from a timid and injured dog into a playful companion, especially for our lonely dog Bella, who adores her. Their bond grew stronger every day, and Roxy fills our home with joy and laughter.

However, as time passed, Roxy's old injury began to resurface. Although her broken leg had healed, it had left her with lingering issues, and she began to limp. We then learned from CARE Surgery Center that Roxy needed a custom CBLO cruciate repair surgery to prevent further complications. Without it, her quality of life would decline, and she risks damaging her other hind leg from overuse every day.

Roxy's story is a beautiful example of how compassion can change lives, proving that every dog deserves a second chance. She is a fighter and has fought through her struggles all while wagging her tail. Please help Roxy get the care she deserves.
