This fundraiser is being done by family & friends of Mercedes Logan to help with all medical costs and bills associated with this journey.

Over the past year, Mercedes has been fighting a very difficult battle against cancer. Diagnosed on 3/13/24, she started off by having a Whipple surgery. After recovery, she was then pushed on to a rigorous chemo and radiation battle against bile duct cancer. During this entire fight, she kept her head held high, fought like a true champion, and smiled through all the pain. After this exhausting battle, she was told she was in remission. Unfortunately, a few months later, the doctors discovered the cancer had spread, and she was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, lung cancer.

Which brings us to today, where she is again fighting one of the toughest battles of her life. With the help of her husband, family & friends, she is back at the University of Pennsylvania doing a very difficult round of chemotherapy. The fight has just begun and we are all pitching in to help along the way to make her journey easier and less stressful. We will be having a benefit Wednesday, June 18th at Anthem Lounge from 5 pm-9 pm for Mercedes. Those who cannot attend but have asked about donating can help here on GoFundMe.
