<div>Six months ago, Jill Smokler, the original Scary Mommy, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a fatal form of brain cancer. She has undergone two surgeries since April and in the new year is hoping to participate in a trial only offered in Germany.

<div>For the past 16 years, Jill has worked to build community; bringing women of all kinds together as she shared her own relatable and hysterical take on motherhood, and providing space for others to share their stories as well. For years she worked to raise thousands of dollars to provide Thanksgiving dinners for families in need.

<div>Now it is our turn to show up for Jill by relieving her of some of the massive financial burden that this disease is causing. The experimental treatment isn't covered by insurance, nor is the travel, rehab and recovery.
