<div>On March 11th, 6 year old Harper was diagnosed with a form of kidney disease called Nephrotic Syndrome. A symptom of this disease is severe swelling around the eyes, belly and joints which causes her a lot of pain and discomfort. She has undergone 12 rounds of infusions so far to help decrease her swelling and she will continue to get them until she goes into full remission. It is likely that Harper will have to continue battling this disease throughout her entire childhood as this typically results in multiple relapses until you reach a certain age.

<div>Harper loves her parents, pets and two brothers deeply, but she is especially obsessed with her three month old brother who she refers to as “her baby.” Her mom is currently unemployed so she can attend all of her infusion appointments and hospital stays while also taking care of the baby. This family has been through a lot of ups and downs this year and could greatly use any type of support you can offer.
