JOIN HANDS NEEDS A TRUCK!

For those struggling in poverty, especially young families just starting out in apartments of their own, it is not uncommon to not have a bed or a couch or a kitchen table.
When donors offer us used furniture, we are so grateful (if we can find a truck), sharing these items with those we serve in East St. Louis who are in need. But if we can't find a truck, we can't accept, and our families continue to go without. And lately we have been spending far too much renting Uhauls!
The mission of Join Hands is to show love and compassion to the economically poor in East St. Louis. As the attached video shows, sharing furniture is just one very small part of what we do, but having a truck sure would make it easier! We don't need a new one, or even a nice one, just one that works!
