My name is Michele and I have started this fundraiser to help a coworker and his wife. Adam and Jen Richard live in the Gisela area and recently have had their well fail on their property. They have been living with a jerry-rigged system of hauling in water and pumping it into their house. Water pressure is so low that it's almost impossible to take a shower.

Their property can be hooked up to a local water department, but there is a fee of at least $650 to put in a meter, not to mention putting in pipe from the meter to the house. Both Adam and Jen are hard workers, with Adam also being on the volunteer fire department in Gisela. It is hard to make ends meet, and funding the cost of the meter would help them breathe easier as well as have a reliable water source for their home. Please consider donating any amount you can.
