A friend for life to anyone with the pleasure of having met, or better yet, spent some time hanging out with, Steve Hegarty was recently diagnosed with stage IV Colon Cancer. Hag, forever the big rough and tumble bear we all love, is in for a tough fight and he needs our help NOW!
Steve will be going through months of chemo and the costs surrounding these treatments will be enormous. While Hags, always the last to cry "uncle", is still working, these costs will be more than he can afford and soon!. He needs our help and needs it NOW!

Team Hag- The Squids, asked Hag if we could help and he offered us and everyone else that knows him the chance of a life time, the chance to help a friend in need! There is no better friend than a friend in need!
Steve had one request, a selfless request, and more of a demand! Hag wanted everyone to know that his diagnosis could have been better had he been checked earlier and the problem discovered earlier.

Steve's Mom, Jackie Hegarty, has agreed to be the beneficiary and will be receiving the funds directly from gofundme and helping Steve offset some medical expenses with these funds. Thanks Jackie!
