UPDATE: Your generous donations, have enabled Joye and Rion to stay in a hotel near their pets while trying to get their power back on. The car was in an accident through no fault of Joye’s and there has been a hold up with the insurance company for repairs. This unfortunate situation is costing money daily for her to continue getting back-and-forth to work.
The very best news is Rion is improving daily! There has been a significant improvement since his recent surgery. He had been struggling after chemo, radiation, and bladder reconstruction. His speech was not improving after his initial stroke which, thank goodness, led to the discovery of the bladder cancer, and he was unable to find the energy to get stronger. And once again an awful event led to another cancer discovery. Thank God. The frightening seizure led to removing two cancerous tumors from Ryan’s brain. No wonder he wasn’t recovering!
