<div><strong>The surgery:</strong>

<div>Fritz went in for surgery to remove a soft tissue sarcoma on his right shoulder last month, but the surgeon was unable to completely remove it. 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At his oncology appointment today, the surgical oncologist determined he thinks he can fully remove it with a scar revision surgery. They had availability the same day, and the cancer hasn’t spread to his lungs yet, so I decided to move forward. He’s going into surgery now. 
</div>

</div>
<div>After talking to the vet I’m hopeful this scar revision surgery will prevent any regrowth. 
</div>

</div>
<div>I’ve updated the goal cost to reflect the cost of the second surgery today and the cancer grading they did this morning. 
</div>

</div>
<div>Thank you to everyone who already donated for his first surgery - we were able to get most of the mass out then, but not all of it. This second surgery is more intense but should get rid of the cancer completely. 
</div>
