Let me introduce you to the gorgeous Edison Landells.
Edi has Leukaemia and needs your help!
For more than 6 years my little sister Kimberley and her husband Scott tried to bless us with the youngest addition to our family and after many negative tests and devastating miscarriages,
Edison Barry Landells arrived on the 29th of October 2016 with the most kissable heart shaped lips and a full head of hair.
He was a dream come true and is the light of our lives.
Edi is an Amazing, Cheeky, Energetic, chatterbox who is always laughing and making us laugh. His favourite things are trucks, motorbikes, dig-digs, his Jelly (bunny) and his very well used mower.
On the 1st August 2018 - after many weeks of gruelling tests that no little man should every have to endure, (including surgery, bone marrow biopsy and a spinal tap just to name a few), he was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukaemia called Acute Myeloid Leukaemia which affects just 2-3 children every 4 years.
Edi is now in for the fight of his life with treatment starting immediately. He, along with his amazingly brave mum Kimberley will be calling The Lady Cilento Hospital home for at least the next 6 months.
As we all know the bills and cost of living do not stop and the with both Edi’s parents 1200kms away from home and work, they are going to need all the support they can get. Whether it’s reaching out, prayers or helping off set costs associated with this diagnosis we appreciate it all and are forever grateful.
We have been through this battle 18 years ago when we lost Edi’s Grandpa to Leukaemia, so we know how tough this fight is going to be.
Edi’s two best friends- his sausages dogs Frank & Chico are eagerly waiting for him to get better and come home.
Thank you for your support, we will keep you updated through out Edi’s treatment. We appreciate every single one of you for all the love and support Kim, Scott and Edi have received.
