<div>She still has many months of chemotherapy and eventually surgery to remove half of the pancreas, called a “Whipple Procedure.” Then many more months of chemotherapy. This will change the rest of her life. Once the Whipple procedure is complete, she will become Type 1 Diabetic and will have to wear a diabetic pump and take enzymes to break down her food for the rest of her life. No one was prepared for this.
