Thanksgiving night, my nephew Daniel (Danny) Garcia was in a horrific car accident in Phoenix. He and his passenger were ejected from his jeep after it rolled multiple times.

Danny spent a few days in the ICU in Phoenix with a fractured pelvis and brain swelling. Danny has since been able to be moved out of the ICU and into Pediatrics. He is expected to stay a minimum of 6 weeks until his pelvis heals.

Danny is in his junior year of high school where he is loved by all his peers. Anyone who has ever met Danny can tell you the outgoing, funny, charismatic person he is. Danny has defied all odds since birth and is continuing to do so now. He is a fighter and is determined to prove the doctors wrong.
