Join Capitol Hill 5k Turkey Trot for a Cause

Please join the Clarke family, Capitol Hill neighbours and Ludlow Taylor families on Thursday November 28th at 9.30am for the sixth annual Capitol Hill 5k Turkey Trot followed by hot beverages, mimosas and light snacks in the alley behind 616 3rd Street NE.

Similar to previous years, this event is a fundraiser with 100% of funds raised being split evenly between:

Runners, walkers, strollers, bikes, dogs, turkeys, kids, spectators, are all encouraged to wobble your way around the course at your own pace! Ludlow Taylor colors (green/yellow) and turkey costumes are highly encouraged!! Please note the roads will not be closed but should be quiet since it is Thanksgiving morning - so please be careful crossing the roads.

Course details (we'll have some print outs on the day):

Start/Finish point: backyard of 616 3rd Street NE

1. Head out the alley onto 2nd St NE

2. Turn left and head south to Constitution Avenue NE

3. At Constitution Ave NE turn right and go west for one block to 1st St

4. Next take the path that takes you to the back of the Capitol

5. Run across the back of the Capitol, taking the path back out to 1st St SE

6. Head east for one block to 2nd St SE

7. Turn right and head south down 2nd

8. At D St SE turn left to head east along D

9. At 7th St SE turn left to head north up 7th

10. At F St NE turn left to head west along F

11. At 2nd St NE turn right and then back to the alley and into our backyard!
