Join Antonio’s Fight

On March 6th, 2018 Antonio Di Ianni went into surgery to have a mass removed from his abdomen. After spending weeks in the hospital and facing 6 weeks of recovery, pathology results confirmed the mass was a Ewing’s Sarcoma. This type of sarcoma is directly related to Bone Cancer. In order to prevent the spread of any cancerous cells left behind from the surgery, Antonio’s team of medical professionals have recommended he undergo both chemo and radiation therapy at the Children’s Hospital of Philidelphia. This treatment will span the period of 8-9 months. During this treatment, Antonio will not be capable of attending school. He is in the process of completing his sophomore year at Grand Canyon University. Antonio is an intelligent young man with a bright future ahead of him. His personality is one of pure happiness, even throughout this time of struggle.
