<div>She has been fighting for her life daily for the last few months, being in the hospital more days than not. She has an infection that needs to be addressed and has been working with doctors for the last few months to come up with a plan that would give her some more time and the best quality of life as possible.

<div>After spending 2 months seeing countless specialists and surgeons, Amanda found a team willing to operate and remove most of her teeth and infected jaw but preserve enough structure to allow her to continue to smile (most importantly), speak and drink coffee. Inspired by the opportunity to save her life these doctors are willing to offer their services at significant discount or fully pro bono. As such, the initial cost after insurance coverage, was going to be nearly $44,000 plus thousands more for the cost of dentures and further treatment and is now approximately $20,000.

<div>Her medical debt and expenses are already far beyond what her resources can fund and this seems impossible to her.

<div>She thought it seemed like trying to buy a couple more years wasn’t worth the cost. Until she realized that her message for the last few years has been that every day is a miracle. "Every moment is a gift. And this life, that I still feel has such purpose… is worth fighting for."
