Every once in a while, something happens that puts your life on hold and resets your priorities. On September 4, 2025, my nephew Aiden, 14, was diagnosed with Leukemia. The news hit our family like a ton of bricks and it has been difficult processing it. Doctors have told us his prognosis is good and his first chemo treatment has gone well. Although his first chemo beat him up, Aiden is tough and courageous and we know he will put a smack down on his cancer.
Aiden was just starting his sophomore year in H.S. He loves golf (got his first birdie a few weeks ago), the NY Giants and Son Heung Min. Although Aiden is the baby of our family, he definitely isn't the smallest. At 14 years old, he is 5'11, 175 pounds with size 12 feet (I call him clown feet).
The reason I started this for nephew, brother and sister in law is to help them focus on beating cancer and not worry about the financial burdens of this terrible disease. I also plan to match a portion of the donations to https://www.tacklekidscancer.org/ (up to $1000).
