Johny boy’s Battle against leukemia

After a long month of being sick, visits to Doctors, urgent cares and ERs Maira and John were given the devastating news that Johny was diagnosed with AML, a type of leukemia rare in children. Johny’s  fight is going to be a long one. He is expected to be in the hospital for a six month stay while receiving aggressive chemo therapy. As you can imagine Maira and John would like to be by his side daily. With this, Maira has been forced to leave work. If you know this family personally you know that they would give anything they could if someone needed something. We are hoping to ease some of their financial stress of moving to one income while he completes treatment. Johny is holding strong! Although he hates the hospital The doctors and nurses and taking good care of him. #Choneystrong

I know now many people are going to want to visit Johny and although the family would love that his immune system is compromised at the moment and he isn’t able to have a flow of visitors.
