Johnson County Young Artists Society is a multi-district, coordinated effort to celebrate creativity in our high school arts programs and provide a healthy, social outlet for these artists across Johnson County. The businesses of Downtown East Cleburne are committed to this cause, coming together to create in-person and online events to welcome students into the larger art community. The Cleburne Arts Festival is organizing this movement in order to meet the next generation of talented, local artists, encourage artistic entrepreneurship and provide the business resources these students need to thrive.
Currently, we are raising money to create the county’s only multi-district, juried Art Show for high school students. This Art Show will culminate in Songbird Gallery Night, a gala in January honoring Art Show participants and presenting prizes. There will be typical awards, as well as opportunities to have works exhibited in the Red Horse Art Gallery, selected for sale in Cleburne Arts Festival's Young Artists tent and/or Red Horse Antique Mall's Young Artists Booth with profits going directly to these students.
Any donations to this will fund this event directly, with no businesses involved accepting any payment.
