The Johnson Central High School Honor Choir has been selected to perform at the 2026 White House Holiday Open House in Washington, D.C. Chosen from more than 1,000 applications from groups across the United States, this is a remarkable honor for these students, for Johnson Central High School, and for the wider Johnson County community.

From December 13-17, 2026, the choir will travel to our nation’s capital to share Christmas music at the White House and represent Eastern Kentucky on a national stage. For these students, this is truly an opportunity of a lifetime. They will not only perform in one of the most prestigious settings imaginable, but also experience the history and traditions of Washington, D.C. while representing their school, community, and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Donations to this fundraiser will help cover the cost of transportation, lodging, and food for the trip. Support will help make it possible for these talented young vocalists to take part in this extraordinary experience and focus on the honor they have earned through their dedication and hard work.

This moment means so much to the students and to the community that has supported them along the way. Any donation, no matter the size, or even sharing this fundraiser, will help the Johnson Central High School Honor Choir make this special journey and proudly represent Eastern Kentucky at the White House.
