John's Multiple Myeloma Fight

In November of 2016, my father and best friend was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer called Multiple Myeloma. It has been a long road of doctors appointments and chemotherapy, and now it is time for the final step of treatment. His cancer has responded tremendously to the chemo treatments, but his oncologist recommends that his best chance for complete remission is by going through a bone marrow transplant. Everything is set in motion for us to travel to Denver for the transplant to take place. However, while we fight for my dad's life, our lives must still go on. We have rent to pay and bills to manage. I will not be working during this time, as I will be alongside my dad during his fight. We are asking for help to keep things afloat during this difficult time in the form of hotel stays during the pre-transplant phase and the outpatient after care period, gas for the to and from trips to Denver and appointments, as well as making sure we still have a home to come to when it is all over.
