John got sick in May. On July 26, 2017 he was diagnosed with Stage 3 Double Hit Agressive Diffuse Large B-cell NH Lymphoma. He has fought infection and other battles since then and started receiving a Personalized Chemotherapy Regimen that is not available in our home town. Every 2 weeks we go to the Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis so John can be hospitalized for one week for his treatments. We had Insurance and short/long term Disability through John's employer. On December 14, 2017 John's Employer ordered a massive shut down of its Sales offices in Lafayette, IN - also MI and IL. John's goal was to achieve remission around May and return to work. But his job has been eliminated. Now he is unemployed, fighting cancer and receiving Chemo. We continue to try to financially balance all we must be responsible for. John's severance package will end on February 9, 2017. We need help with all our monthly expenses: Medication for John and I, groceries, Pet care and Pet lodging while we're in Indianapolis, our Mortgage payment, utilities, and much more. John has been responding to treatment and of course we are praying for a positive outcome this Spring. This very serious cancer diagnosis was a huge shock. John has always been very healthy. His Employer terminating hundreds of employees 11 days before Christmas was also a shock. This is a difficult thing to do, but we need urgent financial support and we are asking for help. Thank you.
