2025 is our 11th year of delivering gift cards to John Hopkins Hospital Children's Center in Dale's memory. Dale LOVED bingo and would play every Wednesday no matter the circumstances. Gift cards were always coveted by the teens but were generally in short supply because, let’s face it, it is easier to buy a coloring book, crayons, doll or small toy then something for a teen. But BINGO was still a fun endeavor and a way to take the mind off the latest medical stuff. Hence, the popularity no matter the age of the patient.

Every Wednesday afternoon 3 games of BINGO are played. And they allow multiple winners/games, because after all it is an activity occurring in an inpatient Children’s hospital where kids like Dale often spent weeks or months at a time with little to make them smile!

We want to put a smile on the teens’ faces with the gift cards. 3 games/week, with 52 weeks in a year = 156. We would like to have at least 156 gift cards to have at least one prize for a teen/each game played.
