John's Exodus Back Home

This Christmas, my only wish is to go home.

I was born and raised in Burlington, VT. My family and I moved when I was 13 and ever since I have felt a deep well of sadness. My brothers have returned to New England to further their education and careers. I need them now more then ever, and I need your help to get back to my roots and start fresh.

I have lived in Austin for seven years now and after existing in a city that's blood, like mine, courses with alcohol I feel like I am at a breaking point. My demons are too strong and my depression too deep. The yearn to return to my roots itched in the back of my mind for years but I know now that it is my way to a new beginning.

I met a lot of amazing people over the years I've been in Austin and love them dearly. I will miss you terribly, but I know I cannot be a person that I can love, or find peace in a city where a whiskey river runs through and the party never ends.

I humbly ask for you a donation, no matter the size. Please help me save my life.
