John's Assisted Living Cost

I'm reposting this because cost have risen and he's in need of some assistance.

My father, John, suffered a major stroke in December 2014 that left him cognitively impaired and unable to care for himself.  Since that time, he has been living in an Assisted Living Facility in Perry, MI(now in Ann Arbor), where he is being well taken care of. The facility is a great place for him to live out the rest of his days, however, this level of care is very expensive and the monthly costs continue to rise. John’s health had been steadily declining following the passing of my mother in 2009 and unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, he lost all the savings he had accumulated over the years. With no nest egg to draw from, this has left me responsible to make up the extra costs he needs for medications, clothes, and other necessities. I am asking for help because it would give him the financial stability he needs. It will ensure his Assisted Living Facility is paid in full and on time each month, as well as the pharmacy that supplies him the medications he requires to control his diabetes, depression, and chronic pain.

My Dad is a relatively young man of 68(now 73). Life threw him a few tragic curveballs that were impossible for him to recover from. He worked hard is entire life to support and raise three children. He is a great father to me and my two sisters, and a grandfather to four little boys. He deserves to be comfortable and well taken care of for the rest of his life the way he took care of my mother, sisters and I for so many years. 

So I am asking for help from his friends and family through this gofundme campaign. Any help would be so greatly appreciated.
