John Ramstead's YWAM DTS

Hey everybody! My name is John Ramstead, and I have exciting news! I've been accepted to the Skien, Norway impact discipleship training school through Youth With A Mission (YWAM) starting September 18th, 2017. There I will be learning how to both serve and minister to several different communities. This program lasts nine months. The first half is a lecture and training phase, with a service trip to another country in Europe;  the last half is an outreach program where I, along with some teammates, get to serve and spread the love of Jesus in a third world country! I am beyond excited that God has called me to be a part of such an awesome program and to step out in faith into a world that needs Jesus.

I am currently working a full time job as a manager at a restaurant and am also doing some side work to make extra money, but there is no way I'll be able to make it there without your gracious help and support. And if you're in a situation where you can't give, all I ask that you would pray for me, and for God's provision. 

The lecture phase (September 18th - December 16th) is $4235. The first installment is $1000, due September 1st. The rest $3235 is due by October 1st.

The outreach phase (the dates are TBD, but the DTS ends on May 5th ) is anywhere from $4000-$6000, and is due while I'm there.

I have already raised $4600 on my own and the rest of the money I am hoping to raise will cover my international trip and some extra for emergencies and other miscellaneous expenses that might pop up.

I sincerely believe that this is where the Lord has called me to be. I am so excited to grow and learn in a new environment. Not only that, but this DTS will allow me to expand and develop the gifts and talents that God has given me! It would mean the world to me if you helped me achieve this goal. God bless you always.
