<div>I wish I was coming here with only good news, but things have taken an unexpected turn over the past few days.
</div>

<div>As you know, Johnny came into my life two months ago as a sick, fragile little puppy I found on the streets. Since then, he’s been getting stronger, vaccinated, and slowly building his way toward a healthy life and eventually joining me abroad.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But right now… things are not as simple anymore.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A few days ago, the vet found a skin bump on Johnny that could potentially be a tumor. At this stage, we don’t know exactly what it is, so we need to monitor it closely over the next few weeks. Depending on how it evolves, he will most likely need surgery to have it removed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At the same time, after his last vaccination, his immune system dropped significantly and triggered carrée (distemper), which he likely had dormant in his body. So now, in addition to everything else, he needs regular vet visits, monitoring, medication, and careful support to help his body recover.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All of this is happening just 5 days before I have to leave Morocco for work for three months.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’ve already arranged for a kind and trusted local woman to take care of Johnny while I’m gone, but the situation has become much heavier than I could have anticipated—emotionally and financially.
</div>

</div>
<div>Between:

<div>his daily care and food
</div>
<div>ongoing vet consultations
</div>
<div>upcoming surgery
</div>
<div>medications and recovery products
</div>
<div>and his passport process for the future
</div>

<div>…it’s honestly overwhelming.

</div>
<div>I never planned for any of this. I just couldn’t walk past a puppy who needed help. I didn’t think it would turn into something this complex and this costly, especially all at once and right before I have to leave.

</div>
<div>But Johnny depends on me—and now I’m asking for help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div>J’aimerais venir avec uniquement de bonnes nouvelles, mais la situation a pris un tournant inattendu ces derniers jours.
</div>

<div>Comme vous le savez, Johnny est entré dans ma vie il y a deux mois, petit chiot malade et très fragile trouvé dans les rues du Maroc. Depuis, il a commencé à reprendre des forces, a reçu ses premiers vaccins et progresse doucement vers une vie plus saine, avec l’objectif de me rejoindre un jour à l’étranger.

<div>Mais aujourd’hui, les choses sont devenues plus compliquées.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Il y a quelques jours, le vétérinaire a découvert une petite boule sur sa peau, qui pourrait être une tumeur. Pour l’instant, rien n’est certain, mais nous devons la surveiller de très près pendant plusieurs semaines. Selon son évolution, une opération chirurgicale pourrait être nécessaire pour l’enlever.

<div>En parallèle, suite à son dernier vaccin, son système immunitaire a fortement chuté et a déclenché la maladie de Carré (distemper), qu’il portait probablement déjà de façon latente. Nous devons donc maintenant faire face à des visites vétérinaires régulières, des traitements, des médicaments et un suivi très attentif pour l’aider à se rétablir.

<div>Tout cela arrive à peine 5 jours avant mon départ du Maroc pour trois mois de travail.
</div>

</div>
<div>J’ai bien sûr trouvé une personne locale de confiance pour s’occuper de Johnny pendant mon absence, mais la situation est devenue beaucoup plus lourde que ce que j’avais pu anticiper, autant émotionnellement que financièrement.
</div>

</div>
<div>Entre :

<div>ses soins et son alimentation quotidienne

<div>les consultations vétérinaires régulières
</div>

<div>Je n’avais rien prévu de tout cela. J’ai simplement vu un petit chien en détresse et je n’ai pas pu continuer mon chemin. Je ne pensais pas que cela deviendrait une situation aussi complexe et aussi coûteuse, surtout dans un délai aussi court avant mon départ.

<div>Mais Johnny dépend de moi — et aujourd’hui, je dois demander de l’aide.
