Johnny’s Funeral Expenses and Headstone
As most of you already know, my daddy, John (Johnny/JT) Thomas went home to be with Jesus on 12/13/2020. Although had been sick with liver disease for some time, his passing was not at all expected, not even by his hospice nurse. He went from okay to bad to gone within about 4 days.

Our family is simply trying to pay off his funeral expenses which total about $4000 or so and get him at least a foundation poured so that we can take decor out to his grave. Any extra would go towards a headstone.
My father had no life insurance. My mother has cashed in what little resources she had and has paid for half the funeral. My father wasn’t a Medicaid for the Aged/Disabled recipient and the state of Indiana requires that in order to receive burial assistance. We literally have no way of paying for these things but, I really want to take the load off my mother and get at least one of these items paid for. You can even designate what you’d like your donation to be for (funeral, foundation, headstone or family choice) and I will ensure you get a receipt showing that that is exactly what your money went towards.
Our family needs a place to grieve and while he has a burial plot that was already paid for...my dad deserves a headstone and some decor. Without a foundation, the cemetery won’t allow us to place anything out there and really we wouldn’t be able to anchor it to anything anyway. I know I’m asking for a lot, and my dad wouldn’t want anyone burdening themselves for him....but I will do whatever I have to do even if itmeans asking for help.
