Johnny's Recovery Fund

Johnny is our 11-year-old Nephew in Thailand. Recently on June 2nd, Johnny was riding a motorcycle near his home town in Chaiyaiphum, Thailand when a vehicle struck him sending directly to the ground, leaving him with both legs broken, unconscious, and with a severe brain bleed. Emergency personnel took Johnny to the nearest hospital and since then, and as of the day of this writing, Johnny has been in a coma and completely unresponsive. He has been put on a ventilator to help him stay alive, and tests are routinely being conducted searching for positive signs, thus far, there are none. By his bed is an entire community providing support for each other. Family, friends, and neighbors are helping by donating blood and giving prayers. 


As Johnny's Doctors do everything they can to save him, the cost of hospitalization is adding up, and in the best-case scenario, Johnny is facing a long and painful road to recovery. We don't yet know if Johnny has suffered any brain damage, or if he will be left with any type of disability. For now, the best we are hoping for is that he wakes up from his coma. Our hearts are filled with pain but overwhelmed with love and support from the community he calls home and the many long-distance friends and family who provide emotional support. 


We are reaching out to everyone who can afford it, to help with Johnny's hospital costs and any type of medication, treatment, or therapy he might need in the coming days. Until we know more about his condition, we don't know the amount of the financial burden his immediate family will carry. 

While Johnny has been at the hospital, he has received multiple blood units and the community has been coming forward to donate blood. If you can't financially help, please find the time to donate blood at your local blood bank, there are others in need of transfusions the same way Johnny is needing it at this time.
