Johnny Rosa - Adlon Doorman

On October 1, Johnny Rosa, our wonderful doorman, had an electrical fire in his apartment building in the Bronx. Fortunately, he and his wife, Eva Rosa, were able to get themselves and their dogs out of the apartment, but they lost everything in the fire. Right now they are staying with a relative and working to get back on their feet.

Johnny did not ask for help. My son, Reed, was playing in the lobby with Johnny and happened to overhear Johnny talking with his son about the fire. When Reed returned to our apartment he told me about what happened to Johnny.

Johnny's cheerful deminor and willingness to lend a hand are things that make the Adlon a wonderful place to live. If you would like to help out, in his time of need, I'm sure Johnny would appreciate it. Johnny and Eva will be using the funds to help replace items they lost in the fire, such as household items and clothing. Feel free to donate through this site, or to give him directly. If you would like to write a check, Johnny's full name is Daramil Rosa.

I am in the process of getting the funds transfered to Eva Rosa, Johnny's wife.

Many thanks.
